STEP 2

Upload a copy of each entry with the following specifications:

• 3,000 pixels on the longest side

• Adobe RGB colour space (not greyscale

or sRGB)

• Saved as JPEG, setting 9

• File named using the following format:

State2020_LastNameFirstInitial_Number.jpg e.g. ‘QLD2020_SmithJ_1.jpg’.

Image filenames should be letters, numbers and underscores only. e.g. OS2020_SmithJ_1.jpg

STEP 3

Complete the online entry process. Ensure that you have entered the correct category, provided caption details if required, and have declared the people or services you engaged to assist in the preparation of your print entries.

STEP 4

When the online entry has been completed and paid, print a copy of the supplied print identification labels and address labels. Place the print identification label on the back of your mount in the top left-hand corner. This determines how your print will be oriented for the judges.

STEP 5

Print and mount your images in accordance with the image presentation requirements on pages 33 and 34. The visible print (the image as seen through the matte, if any) must be a minimum of 25cm on its longest side. If your matte covers the edge of the print, you will need to make the print slightly larger to meet this requirement. Prints may exceed the 25cm requirement, up to the 50x40cm mount size.

STEP 6

Upload your original files via Dropbox for the 2020 AIPP Epson State Awards. Order all of your files in a folder on your computer. These files should be RAW files, or JPEG/TIFF files created in-camera at the time of capture. Name the files/folders according to your unique AIPP ID and entry numbers. Place all images into amain folder as follows:

AIPP ID-Name

Sub-folder name by Image ID

Once created the parent folder MUST be compressed to submit via the dropbox link. Right click on the folder to find the option to compress. On PC you may need to select your files, select ‘send to’, and then choose Compressed (zipped) folder. Ensure that the zip folder is named appropriately before clicking the link which will prompt you to upload to dropbox. Dropbox links are state specific:

ACT Dropbox Link
NSW Dropbox Link
WA Dropbox Link
NT Dropbox Link
QLD Dropbox Link
VIC Dropbox Link
TAS Dropbox Link
SA Dropbox Link

Please note: You will not see any other entrant’s submissions within the file request link, so please be assured that your files are secure.

Please Note: Entrants will receive a ‘receipt of entry’ email after they submit their entries. Validation emails will not be sent. If you do not receive your receipt of entry email, please email awards@aipp.com.au for assistance.

STEP 7

Send mounted prints in an official AIPP print case. These can be ordered by contacting awards@aipp.com.au or calling 1300 685 334 (Students do NOT require an AIPP Print Case as they will most likely submit in their tertiary institutes print case).

Each State has different closing dates and print case delivery dates and locations.

Check the AIPP Epson State Awards website under each State for more information.
