THE 2018 AIPP STATE PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE YEAR
The winner receives a certificate, trophy and $250 cash.
Portraiture photography is broadly defined and can include family portraiture, corporate, travel, creative and interpretive portraits. Entries into the Portrait category will be judged broadly, based on content, impact and professional quality. The judges will be asked to consider portraiture in its broadest context.
This category will be judged in 2 sections:
- Portrait Single Capture
- Portrait Open
Although the Category is judged in two sections to assist the judges in their assessment, there is only one Award.
CATEGORY RULES AND REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the general rules stipulated HERE
- Portrait Open entries may utilise all post production techniques, including the use of multiple images or elements to produce the entry
Portrait Single Capture:
- Portrait Single Capture entries may utilise all post production excluding the addition of new elements to the original capture, including borders and textures.
- The repetition of the same single capture, either in full or part is prohibited.
